Its location was awesome, really close to the trams and the street revellers, and attractions in both the old and new towns. The breakfast with great views was served in the bar.

I truly enjoyed the stay. Good value, everything was very convenient and the staff was lovely. The restaurant was great for dinner, I tried hot dishes. The beds were extremely comfy, view of the castle was excellent. The location was unbeatable: a mini market and a convenience shop were within walking distance. Had nice dainties at Hard Rock Cafe, located close to the hotel.
Some of the staff were quite rude.

The breakfast was nice hot with a 5 min walk from the station lovely view of both castle and a roll, and the restaurant's offer was good. The location adjacent to the train station was perfect and absolutely incredible. Before bed I went to The Booking Office for a nightcap, it's around 4-6 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Set within 5 minutes walk from edinburgh castle, the hotel was also very close to many city attractions. 5 min walk from edinburgh waverley train station. The ivy on the square, which can be found only 300 ft away, was a fast option. We loved the fact that we chose old waverley.
